Course Overview:
This short course provides a comprehensive introduction to OSHA’s emergency standards, focusing specifically on 29 CFR 1910.38 – Emergency Action Plans (EAP) and 29 CFR 1910.39 – Fire Prevention Plans (FPP). Designed for safety officers, supervisors, and employees involved in workplace safety, the course outlines the key elements required to develop and implement effective emergency and fire prevention plans in the workplace.
While this training offers essential knowledge and best practices, it is not a substitute for compliance with OSHA’s legal requirements. To ensure full compliance, learners must refer to and follow the most current OSHA standards applicable to their specific workplace conditions.

Final Exam Information

- Exam Type: Open book (course materials and notes are allowed).
- Passing Criteria: Minimum 70% score required.
- Retake Policy:
- Up to 3 attempts allowed within 48-hour period.
- Remedial study recommended between attempts.
